Big News School has started in Haiti

What a year it has been for the children at Hope 12:21 and the entire country of Haiti.

Over the past few years when in conversation and I am referring to Haiti I’m always hopeful. Despite the current state of affairs and the fact the country is facing a sociopolitical crisis and being held under the crippling control of gangs we pray the children would still have an opportunity to attend school.

Today, I am elated to tell you school has begun. Each and every child at Hope 12:21 will have an opportunity they consider to be a blessing. The children are excited to see their friends, engage in school activities at LeRefuge and most of all have the opportunity to gain an education. All of the cost related to tuition, uniforms, and school books were paid for by a generous donor for this school year. We are beyond grateful for the gift of education. Thank you!

The 2024/2025 School year is one of the first we do not have the needed supplies for the kids to start school. Over the past 10 years we have provided backpacks, school supplies, notebooks, calculators, and all the necessary items for the children to be prepared. Many of the items came from you our faithful Sponsors over the years. Weather you hand delivered in Haiti, or simply donated to the cause. These efforts supplied many!

Well, the overstock of supplies we have had in storage pretty much was depleted over the past two years.

We have a mission to get this Storage Closet back full of the supplies for the children, and even for some of our local kids in the community who may need the assistance to be able to attend school. Friends If you can share in the gift of educating our youth I am asking you make an in kind gift so we may purchase the items need for the children in Haiti. No shipping this year, the items will all be purchased locally in Haiti. Thanks for helping us prepare the kids for success.

Any donate tab will work, “School supplies” in the comments please.

Thank you to all of you who continue to provide love, hope, and a promise for a brighter tomorrow.

Blessings to you all,

Amy Fletcher
